Droptext does not require account creation. We do not collect personal information such as name, email address, or phone number to use the core Service.

Text and files shared within a room are temporarily stored to enable synchronization between connected devices.

Rooms/Clipboards and associated data are temporary by design. Shared text and files automatically expire and are permanently deleted after a 2 hours of User inactivity.
Droptext is not intended for permanent storage or backup. Droptext does not maintain long-term archives of user-shared content.

Droptext may rely on infrastructure providers for hosting. These providers process data only as necessary to operate the Service.
Users are responsible for safeguarding room identifiers. Anyone with access to a room code may access shared content within that room.
